Dental SEO Cost in 2026: What Agencies Charge and What You Get
Short answer: dental SEO usually costs between a few hundred and several thousand dollars a month in the US. Among agencies that publish prices, we found starting points from $300 a month and typical campaigns quoted at $1,000 to $5,000 a month. What you should pay depends on how competitive your market is, how many services and locations you need to rank, and whether content, links and reporting are included.

Most agencies do not publish their prices, which makes comparing them hard. We checked the dental SEO pages that rank for “dental seo company” and similar searches on October 24, 2026, and recorded every price that was published. Below is what we found, what drives the price up or down, and how to tell whether a quote is fair.
What dental SEO agencies publish (October 2026)
These are the agencies’ own published figures, quoted as shown on their pages on October 24, 2026. They are not our estimates, and prices change.
| Agency | Published price | Notes from the same page |
|---|---|---|
| Delmain | SEO “starting at $300/mo” | 6-month minimum; “We can’t promise #1 rankings” |
| Loopex Digital (its dental SEO list) | “plans from $750/mo” | Stated in the list’s description |
| SEO Engine Boost (us) | $790 audit; $990 or $1,490 a month | Month-to-month, no setup fees, audit credited to month one |
| Lasso MD | “Most dental SEO campaigns range from $1,000 to $5,000/month” | Offers a “3x ROI” guarantee page |
| OrthodontistSEO.com | $1,499 and $2,499 a month; extra Business Profile $499 a month | City exclusivity within a stated radius |
Many large agencies, including several that rank first for dental SEO searches, show no price at all and ask you to book a call.
What you are actually paying for
Two quotes at the same price can buy very different work. A useful dental SEO plan covers five areas: See also ten dental marketing companies compared.
- Technical health: fast mobile pages, correct indexing, structured data for your practice and doctors.
- Google Business Profile and local signals: the right primary category, services, photos, consistent listings and a steady review process.
- Service pages: one accurate page for each treatment you want more of, such as implants, Invisalign, emergency visits or pediatric care.
- Authority: earning mentions and links from relevant local and dental websites, without buying links.
- Reporting: calls, form requests and booked appointments by source, not only rankings.
If a low-priced plan covers only one or two of these, it may still be good value, but you should know what is missing.
What makes dental SEO cost more or less
| Factor | Pushes the price up when… | Keeps it lower when… |
|---|---|---|
| Market competition | You are in a large metro with many practices investing in SEO | You are in a smaller town with few competitors online |
| Number of services | You want to rank for many treatments at once | You focus on two or three high-value services |
| Locations | You have several offices, each needing its own profile and page | You have one office |
| Starting point | The site is slow, thin or has technical problems | The site is sound and only needs content and local work |
| Content | The agency writes and clinically reviews new pages every month | You supply content or need only a few pages |
| Ads included | Google Ads management is bundled in | SEO only |
Is dental SEO worth the cost?
It is worth it when the value of the patients it brings exceeds what you pay, over a long enough period. A simple way to judge: estimate the value of one new patient for the service you want (treatment fee plus likely follow-up care), then ask how many new patients per month would cover the fee. If one or two new patients a month would pay for the plan, the question becomes whether the agency can show it is producing those patients.

Red flags in a dental SEO quote
- A guaranteed first-place ranking. Google states that no one can guarantee a #1 ranking.
- A fixed number of links per month, priced by domain metrics. This often points to paid or low-quality links.
- Long contracts with no exit before the agency has shown any result.
- Accounts owned by the agency. Your Business Profile, analytics and website should be in your name.
- Reports with rankings only and no calls, forms or booked appointments.
- No clinical review of treatment content written about your practice.
Monthly retainer, project or performance pricing?
Monthly retainers are the most common, because SEO is ongoing work. One-off projects, such as an audit or a site rebuild, suit practices that have an in-house person to keep things going. Performance or guarantee-based pricing exists too. Read the terms closely: a provider paid per ranking may choose terms that are easy to rank for rather than ones that bring patients.
How to compare two quotes fairly
- Ask each agency to list exactly what is included each month, in writing.
- Ask what you keep if you leave.
- Ask how they will measure calls and booked appointments.
- Ask for a real example of their work with a named practice, or for their own site’s results.
- Compare the cost per month against the number of new patients needed to break even.

Frequently asked questions
How much does dental SEO cost per month?
Published prices we found in October 2026 range from $300 a month (starting price) to campaigns quoted at $1,000 to $5,000 a month. Our own plans are $990 and $1,490 a month after a $790 audit, month-to-month.
Why do some dental SEO agencies not publish prices?
Some tailor every quote to the market and scope. Others prefer to discuss price on a sales call. Either way, ask for the full monthly cost and inclusions in writing before you sign.
How long should I pay for dental SEO before judging it?
Technical and Business Profile improvements can show within weeks, but competitive treatment searches usually take several months. Judge progress monthly on calls, form requests and booked appointments, not rankings alone.
Is cheap dental SEO worth it?
It can be if the work is clearly defined and honest. Be cautious of very low prices combined with guaranteed rankings or bulk links, which often signal low-quality or risky methods.
