How complete is your profile?
Most families see your map listing before your website. Work through the list honestly; the most important gaps are weighted higher and shown first.
Fix these first:
Why each item matters
What the checks are based on
Name, category and address
Google says local results are based mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. Your name, primary category and location are the clearest relevance and distance signals you control, and Google’s guidelines ask that the name match your real-world business name.
Services, photos and hours
Complete, accurate information helps Google match your profile to searches and helps families decide. Listing treatments as services and keeping hours correct also cuts wasted calls.
Reviews and replies
Google says reviews and ratings contribute to prominence. Reply to every review, but never confirm that the reviewer is a patient. Our free review reply generator helps with wording.

FAQ
Google Business Profile checker FAQ
Does a complete profile guarantee a higher ranking?
No. Completeness helps Google understand and trust your listing, but distance and competition also matter, and Google does not publish a ranking formula.
Why is the primary category weighted so highly?
Because it tells Google what kind of business you are. For an orthodontic practice, Orthodontist is usually the right primary category.
Is my answer saved anywhere?
No. The checker runs in your browser and nothing you tick is sent or stored.
What should I do after the check?
Fix the items listed first, then use our Google Business Profile checklist for the details of each field, or see our Google Business Profile service.
